Homemade Big Mac

I LOVE Big Macs. It was the one thing I craved when I was pregnant the second time. I would smell a Big Mac and that child would start rocking and rolling.  If I would have known back then I could make a homemade Big Mac – I would’ve gained about two hundred pounds.  I promise this taste just like a Big Mac and falls apart like one too.

and for the secret sauce, it’s not so much a secret!  Keep reading to find out what it is

Why Make a Homemade Big Mac?

They are cheaper, bigger, and better!

You could just go to the golden arches and get you a #1 so why make one at home.  Well, to impress your friends and save a couple of bucks.  I don’t know how far you are from Mikie D’s but it took me 30 minutes to make four burgers along with homemade fries.  All of it was $12.00 including the soda. I can’t get four super size value meals for that price.  These things were huge, the way I remember them from the 90’s, not the tiny ones they have now.  Couldn’t even eat a whole one with the fries – so breakfast was a leftover Big Mac.  You won’t see any pickles in the photos because I didn’t have any.  Add them wherever you want. But they normally go next to the top bun.

Now let’s get to the “Secret Sauce” It’s Thousand Island Dressing. That’s it, you don’t have to use french dressing and add a bunch of things to it. Just go buy a bottle of Thousand Island. You can also use it on chicken and it tastes awesome.
