1.     Grammarly

This isn’t your basic spellchecker. Although they offer spell check, which is way better than any ordinary one I have used, you can also add Grammarly to your browser so it automatically pops up when you make a mistake. With the premium version they proofread, check for plagiarism, punctuation and over 250 grammar rules to make you look like a writing star. Your English teacher would be so proud. Speaking of which too bad they weren’t around back when I was in English class. They have a free version with limited features or premium which starts as low as $11.66 a month. Check them out.

2.     PicMonkey

PicMonkey Photo editing made of win
Super easy site to edit your photos, make vertical pins for Pinterest, make collages for Facebook, and Twitter. You can do the basics of cropping, adding text, borders, and resizing. Or more advanced features like exposure, overlay, rotating photos, filters. They also have a way to make real life photos look like miniatures.  It’s fun to play around with and not frustrating to learn how to use all of their fun features.  They have cheap rates for the premium, are easy to use, and navigate. Great for beginners. Free limited program or premium for $7.99 a month.

WP Engine Hosting

The following websites are important because you cannot just Google an image and put it onto your website. Why not? Because you can be sued! There are copyright laws that pertain to art and pictures are art. So don’t even do it. It’s not worth the potential 1000’s of dollars in legal fees if that photo is registered.

3.     Unsplash

Great photo site for free, high resolution, stock photos, that you can use on any platform.  Even for commercial purposes. They do ask, if possible, you give credit back to the photographer’s Unsplash account, but it is not required.  Although they do have great photos if you are looking for a specific picture you could be out of luck or very limited in selection…..
